Hojari frankincense has three distinct colours; green, white and amber.

The Royal Green frankincense was once exclusively collected for the Sultan of Oman and his Royal Court. (hence the name) and is considered the highest grade frankincense available. White, the next grade down, was available for the common people, as was the darker amber. All are classified medical grade ,meaning it contains Boswellic acid, Hojari medical grade frankincense has been used for thousands of years for a variety of medical complaints.

Dhofar region of Oman

Hojari Frankincense comes from the mountains in the Dhofar region in Oman. It is harvested in May before the start of the Kareef (monsoon season).
